10 Strategies For Finding The Best MLM Leads


The best MLM leads, hands down, are the ones you generate yourself! Why are they best? It's because you've somehow created a relationship with them through value you have provided them. You have in some way attracted them to your website, read an article you've written, watch a video you've created, or visit your blog.

The key is first to get the right people to come to see your stuff. Who are the right people? People who are already interested in what you have to offer and people who have problems or challenges they're trying to solve and you have the answer (or at least an important PART of the answer). This is your target market.

When you're dealing with your target market these are the very best MLM leads you can find. When these people land on your site they will find tons of information which will add value to their lives. It will help them solve problems or challenges or other issues they are facing. And what's even better, they'll want more!

10 STRATEGIES TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO YOU AND WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER

1. GET INVOLVED IN THE SOCIAL NETWORKS. Social networks are exploding in popularity on the internet now. These are sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Better Networker, and LinkedIn. Social networks are key to getting a large following of people interested in you what you're doing and, eventually, in what you have to offer.

You can also post things on Social Bookmarking Sites. These are sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Propeller, and at least 50 others. These postings should share information that is interesting and relevant for your target market, and they should include links back to your site.

2. CREATE YOUR OWN BLOG. Blogging is a powerful way to keep people up to date on what you're doing and what you have to offer. Blogging is fun, easy, and very effective in attracting people to you. You can post anything you want on your blog but make sure it's relevant to your target market.

3. GIVE AWAY FREE INFORMATION. This is a strategy to help you build your list of prospects. You entice people with things like free eBooks, video, audios, a free consultation, and so on. In exchange for the information they give you their e-mail address so you can follow-up with them in the future.

4. PAY-PER-CLICK ADVERTISING (a.k.a. PPC). These are the ads you see down the right side of the page and the ones at the very top of Google shaded in yellow. You write your ad inviting people to your website. You bid on different keywords people will likely use when looking for something on the internet. This is some of the lowest cost advertising available in today's world. Each time someone clicks on your ad you pay whatever price you bid, but the good part is they've gotten to your website!

5. WRITE ARTICLES FOR EZINES. Contact people who publish ezines for your target market, then you offer them an article which will appeal to their readers. In your article you have a link to your website where readers can learn more about you and what you have to offer.

You can also submit articles to various article directories. This is another great way to increase your value on the Internet. You're not allowed to pitch your business in the articles, but you are allowed an author's by-line which can direct people to your website to get more information. EzineArticles.com is one of the most popular article marketing sites, but do a Google search for others. You'll find there are at least 500+ article directories available!

6. WRITE PRESS RELEASES. This is a wonderful free way to get information up on the Internet. You basically write a "newsy announcement" about some thing you're offering. You submit your press release to any number of free services and they post them on the internet for you. What could be easier than that?!? Just do a Google search for "free press release services".

7. SUBMIT ADS ON CRAIGSLIST. Most network marketers don't know about this strategy. Craigslist is a free classified ad site where you can post ads about almost anything you want. They don't allow you to post MLM ads directly, but you can definitely post a link to a website for some free information you're offering, then from there lead them to your MLM.

8. FORUM ADVERTISING. Enter your target market name followed by the word "forums" in a Google search. You'll receive a list of online forums where your target market hangs out. Join some of the forums to find out what people are talking about.

(IMPORTANT: Don't start pitching stuff! Make a contribution to the discussions and include a link to your website with your signature. If you're providing real value to the discussions going on, you'll be surprised by how many people will check out what you have to offer.)

9. VIDEO MARKETING is taking the Internet by storm. Here, the key again, as with all of these strategies, is to provide real VALUE. You can post as many videos as you want, however, make sure they are offering help to your target market solve their problems or answering questions you've discovered in the forums, or sharing some other information that will be useful to them.

Start by posting to YouTube, but don't stop there. There are at least 50+ video sites out there. Once you've created a video, why not also post it on your social networking sites, your social bookmarking sites. Why not turn your video into an article and then list it on the article directories as well?

10. OFFLINE ADVERTISING to get people to visit you online. You can run ads in local newspapers and other local service directories inviting people call you and/or to check out your website. You might be surprised by the response this can generate.

Now it is not necessary to use all 10 of these strategies to help you find the "best MLM leads". You should probably start out employing 2-3 of your favorites. However, a good long-term goal would be to use them all. The more your name is "splattered across the Internet", the more your credibility grows.

Remember that to find the best MLM leads for your business the key is to provide people with as much value as possible. Keep everything focused on helping other people and providing them with information that will answer their questions, solve their problems, help them deal with their challenges, etc. Keep your focus on the benefits of what you're offering to others (i.e. "what's in it for them!") and what they get out of working with you.
