Getting Your Book Published - How to Find the Freelance Editor That's Right For You
How to Find Your Editor
To land a great literary agent you MUST stand out from the pack and not give the agent, or her assistant, any reason to automatically toss your pages into the rejection pile.
Some writers need editorial help to get there; some don't. If you decide to hire an independent editor to help you prepare your manuscript for submission, follow these handy guidelines for finding the editor who is right for you - and for your manuscript.
DO:
1. Put up an ad. There are lots of websites where you can place an ad for an editor. Some will charge you fees; some won't. You can try getafreelancer.com, guru.com, or elance.com to name a few, but I honestly recommend you take the easy route: craigslist.org. It's free for you and your editor, and TONS of quality freelancers regularly use craigslist listings to connect with potential clients. Beware of a few things if you do place an ad:
You'll get some spam. Easy to delete.
You will get LOTS of responses. Use some of the tips in Part III of this series of posts for sorting through the e-mails and picking the best of the batch.
You'll likely be contacted by scam publishers and predatory fake agents. More on this later, but for now, just hit delete on any e-mail response to a craigslist ad from anyone who claims to be a publisher or agent. The end.
2. Ask your writer's group (and if you don't belong to one yet, join one!). Other writers will be some of your best sources for finding a quality freelance editor. Ask around. If you don't belong to a group yet, Yahoo! has some great groups you can join. (My personal favorites include the Writing and Publishing group and the Fiction that Sells group.)
3. Google. I hesitate to recommend this one to anyone but the most committed of researchers. Searching for a good manuscript editor online takes some perseverance - most of the top results for any given search will be the large services I warn about below. That said, I recently surveyed all of the clients I've worked with in the last five years, and, to my surprise, found that more than a few said they'd found me through a Google search. Now, the highest I can find my site without actually typing in "Murdock Editing" is about the 13th page in, so...grain of salt.
DON'T:
1. Pick the first ad that pops up. Finding the right editor takes research - trust me, it's worth your time.
2. Use a big faceless service. I'm not going to name names, but you can find some of the offenders yourself by taking a scroll through the Preditors and Editors database. Many of these larger, corporate-looking editorial services - the ones that have no actual editor name and face behind them - farm out your work to people with very little to no experience in publishing who are working for next-to-nothing and have no real investment in your success. Some hire quality editors - but it's a crap shoot - you'll have no way of knowing whether your editor is a publishing pro or a college student trying to earn a little extra beer money (not that there's anything wrong with that!).
3. Choose a "literary agent" who also charges fees for editorial work. There are many out there with a mission to educate writers about this scam - start at Preditors and Editors or Writer Beware. Basically it comes down to this - no legitimate literary agent will ever charge you for anything upfront (except maybe incidentals like printing and mailing supplies - but that's at smaller agencies and fairly rare). If an "agent" is offering to edit your work for a fee, run.

Why and How To Write Short Web Articles
Can you read, write & type?
Good! Because you can make decent money by just writing a few short articles a day or week!
Sounds great! Here is how it works!
But before the HOW, please allow me to explain WHY you should!
Because you already are...
You presently spend quite an amount of time - daily, weekly & monthly - on the web. Since you are reading this on EzineArticles, I am assuming you do.
And you already do quite a bit of writing online as well. Oh yes, you do.
Think for a moment. You already write updates, posts, comments, notes on Facebook & on your other various social media & networking sites. And then, there is the writing bit on your phone.
Yeah? With the same ease and within minutes, now you just write a few online articles on some topics, submit them and hey, begin receiving cheques!
The way to do it...
Now, let's get to how it works!
Well, we already know what Search Engines are - Google for example. When people search for something, they type in what is called Keywords. It is whatever we type in Google, and based on those words Google will show you its search results.
Now, keeping this thing in mind, what you need to do is write web articles which are 'Keyword Rich' so that when people type in these keywords, search engines will show them YOUR articles with these keywords.
And when people click or buy something, say, a product you are reviewing... you make money. Quite neat, isn't it?
This is something called SEO writing where SEO means Search Engine Optimization. In order words, the articles that you write are optimized for better search results. So that people can find them easily.
However, this is just a cursory glance at how you can make money by writing online. But the key concepts - Keywords & SEO Writing - behind it are the same.
And now, here's the trick, you don't have to go hunting for topics actually. Or create your own blogs. There already are many who are hunting for SEO writers. What's more, they give you the topic and the keywords, and you just have to add your magic, weave them and turn them into a short, sweet & crisp web article.
There are many free resources on the web that will teach you all about SEO writing. Once you get a fair idea & have done some amount of practicing, you may now want to look for clients who would offer you writing assignments.
To start with, you can join various freelance writing sites where you can find writing projects or join sites that pay you upfront for articles you write. Between the two go for the latter. On many freelancing sites you will have to bid and often the lowest bidder gets the job. While you may get work, you may not be making much money.
However, the best strategy is to look for private clients who would offer you a constant stream of work. And a great place to start is classified sites like Craigslist etc. where can you directly contact clients who are looking for writers and take up assignments. And once you have a client or two, you are in business.
To conclude...
As you can see, if you know how to do it, it is quite a simple & easy way to increase your income.
And the great part is you can do this all from the comfort of your home! Plus you can do it anytime you want, wherever you want. All you need is an internet connection and the commitment to stick to it.

How to Sell Anything On Craigslist Whether You Own a Business Or Not
Did you know that craigslist is one word? Did you also know that it's not capitalized? The reason is that the founder of craigslist, Craig Newmark, didn't capitalize either the name of his site, or any of the link names anywhere on his site. In fact, when you visit the site, you'll notice how plain the site is.
Some might even call it ugly. Who cares? The truth is, this site is consistently ranked in the top 50 most trafficked sites in the world, and the top 20 for the United States. This site gets a HUGE amount of traffic, and if you are a small business owner who is looking for free, and targeted traffic, you can't afford to ignore this site.
This book will easily help you harness this traffic, and the best part is that the information in this book is pretty much evergreen, which means that it's classic. Unless Craig completely changes his business model, the information contained in this book will always work.
In this book, you'll find the following sections:
Part I - craigslist 101
Part II - Posting on craigslist
Part III - The Other Side of craigslist
No matter what you are trying to sell on craigslist, you'll want to read the first section. This section covers safety and helps you protect yourself from spam, as well as helping you understand how craigslist actually works.
Depending on what you are selling will determine which chapters you read in Part II. Everyone will want to read Chapters 4 and 5 as these chapters will explain how to create listings that get results. Chapters 6 through 12 explain the different sections on craigslist, like For Sale, Housing, etc. and shows you how to post appropriately in each of these sections so you get better results.
(If you are a business person promoting your business, you are only allowed to promote in the services section. However, the writer clearly explains how to get the most from listing here.)
The final section explains techniques to help you get the most from your buying experience. You'll also learn how to find what you're looking for and not get scammed in the process.
What I liked about this book is that the author gives you plenty of instruction on how to use craigslist properly. There's no hype, and these techniques will work for anyone who is willing to follow them. In other words, the techniques are what search engine marketers would call "white hat," and these techniques will get you results.
The one thing I was unclear on after reading this book is how many ads you can post and how often. After re reading Chapter 4 though, I found the answers I was looking for. That's another good thing about this book. You don't have to read the whole book to get started quickly, so if you're trying to get rid of that old couch in your living room, you can actually read the book and then write and post an ad in a couple of hours.
Whether you own a business or not, if you plan to use craigslist, this is the book you'll want to read first. It contains plenty of clear instruction that will keep you from getting banned from the site, and you'll get better results from your ads. Well worth reading.
The name of the book is: "craigslist 4 Everyone" by Jenna Lloyd and Sherry Kinkoph Gunter

Bulldozers For Sale - Where To Find The Best Prices On Used And New Bulldozers On The Internet Now
If you are looking to buy bulldozers for sale then you need to be careful who you buy from. You really need to do your research and make sure that the prices that you are being quoted match up to what the real price of the bulldozer is. That's why you should always get multiple quotes from around the Internet before making your purchase. Here are some of the best places to look for bulldozers for sale:
1. Craigslist
You can always find good deal on caterpillar bulldozers for sale if you look on the classifieds website Craigslist. This website has people from all over the country selling their stuff from the owner. However, I wouldn't suggest sending any money through the mail unless you completely trust the person you are buying from. You can always put your money in an escrow account before making the purchase.
2. eBay
eBay has been around for a while now and is a trusted place to buy excavators for sale. You can look and see how trusted the sellers are and give yourself some more reassurance that when you purchase used construction equipment for sale from them that you won't get ripped off. This is one of my favorite places to buy bulldozers for sale.
3. Amazon
Amazon is probably the best place to buy bulldozers for sale because they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you buy through Amazon then you never have to worry about getting ripped off because you can simply return an item if it doesn't come the way you want it. You can find great backhoes for sale on Amazon along with other construction equipment. My advice to you is to check out the reviews that people write about the product before you order it. Only people who have actually bought the product are allowed to write reviews, therefore making it more trustworthy.
4. Local Auction
Check your newspaper and see what is coming up in the local auctions. Sometimes along with car auctions they will include bulldozers for sale. This is a perfect opportunity to get a bulldozer for cheap because most people go to these auctions for regular cars and not construction equipment. Therefore you will be one of the only bidders and able to secure a great deal on a bulldozer for sale.
5. Bulldozer sales websites
If you want to know exactly what you are buying I suggest visiting a website devoted entirely to bulldozers for sale. They usually know more about which ones are the best and they can lead you to the best deals on the Internet. Even if they don't have the bulldozer and construction equipment that you are looking for you can always follow their links to other websites that do. This is probably the best place for you to start your research in finding the best bulldozer for sale for you.
In conclusion, finding the best bulldozer for you is not the easiest thing in the world, but if you do your research correctly you will find that your equipment will last for a very long time. Don't waste your money on a cheap bulldozer when you will have to replace just a couple of years down the line. Think of your purchase as an investment that will last you for years to come.

Writing an Excellent Craigslist Ad - College Student Edition
One excellent way to make extra money while you're in college is to sell stuff. Chances are likely that every time you go home for a break, you find more junk lying around that you don't need any more. Whether you just want to get rid of old clothes, books, and CDs or are ready to part with a computer, a game system, or even the car you bought when you were sixteen, you can probably sell it on Craigslist.
Before you jump right in, though, you need to be sure you know how to write a good ad. If you scan through all the ads on the site for your area, you'll probably notice how ridiculous some of them are. Seriously, who is going to buy a couch without seeing a picture first? And who cares if your computer "works great" if you don't know anything about the processor or memory? Here are some tips to help you write the kind of ad that will sell your stuff for you in just a few days' time:
1. Take a Picture! This is probably one of the most important things that you can do, since Craigslist searchers can - and often do - choose to search for only listings that have pictures with them. Even if you think this isn't important for electronics and such, it definitely is. If you don't have a digital camera, borrow one. Take at least one decent picture of the item, but get two or three if it's something that you know will sell better when people can see how cool it looks
A word to the wise: Don't just leave that computer you want to sell in the middle of your messy desk full of empty beer bottles and trash. Tons of Craigslist pictures feature beds and couches neatly displayed in a room full of dirty underwear or totally covered in junk. No one wants to buy that! Take five minutes to make the picture look presentable!
2. Make the title really specific. People are looking for titles that tell them exactly what you're selling. Instead of saying "GREAT COUCH!!!!!!! MUST SEE!!!!!!!" try something like "Brown Leather Loveseat." The more specific you are, the more people will want to see what you have to offer.
On another note, putting "Must see" in the title or making the whole thing in caps and exclamation points is not going to get people to look at your item. In fact, this will probably annoy people enough that they totally avoid your listing. Instead, rely on a good, descriptive, short title to get the job done.
3. Learn about pricing. There are different ways to list things. If you see OBO after a price, that means "or best offer," indicating that someone is willing to take less than what they listed an item for. If someone lists the price and says "firm," that means they will take exactly that price and no less. You can usually get the best prices if you list your item for a little more than it's worth and take the best offer you can get.
4. Make the ad itself short, clear, and typo-free. No one likes to deal with idiots, and if you make yourself sound like an idiot in your ad, no one will call you about your item, no matter how awesome it is. Get all of the relevant information in the ad, and then reread it a couple of times to make sure spelling and grammar aren't blatantly wrong and that you've said everything you need to.
For instance, when you're selling furniture, include color, age, size, and whether you're a smoker or have pets. When it comes to electronics, the more details the better; put everything you would see listed on Best Buy for that item when it was new, and then add any info. about things you've added to the electronics after you bought them.

How to Make Money With Craigslist - Some Helpful Tips
There are so many ways to make money online these days, that it is increasingly getting easier and easier for individuals looking to make a part-time or full-time income online. This article will take a look at one particular way to make money online. What I am referring to is Craigslist.
Craigslist is the fastest growing buyer/seller website on the internet. Those willing to put a little time and effort into learning Craigslist are realizing that it can be a very profitable and easy way to make some money online
Just like with anything, there are better ways of doing things then others, and Craigslist is no different. Listed below, in no particular order are some easy tips you can use when looking to make money with Craigslist.
Start Selling Things You Already Own - This is the best way to get started making money on Craigslist. Doing this will get you some quick cash, but most importantly, it will get you used to how Craigslist works. Find the things around the house that you no longer want or need and start there.
Have A Detailed Ad Title - What I mean by this is, put as much information as you can about the item that you are selling in your ad titles. You only have so many characters to use, so be smart about it. If you can put a model number, brand name or model year, put it in there.
Write A Good Description - In your ad description, you want to give as much information on your item as you can. You also should be very honest about the item you're selling. If there is a scratch or a dent on it, let it be known in the ad. People like doing business with honest sellers.
Price Low - Make sure that your asking price is reasonable. Over pricing is easily detected by Craigslist buyers and will probably get your ad ignored.
Respond Quickly - You want to make sure that you respond to interested buyers as soon as you can. Craigslist is a very fast moving site, so you want to close the deal before something else catches their eye.
Build Relationships - After you make a sell, you should always ask the buyer would it be OK to contact them if you have other products that you may be selling. Doing this can create your own clientele that can produce income from years to come.

10 Strategies For Finding The Best MLM Leads
The best MLM leads, hands down, are the ones you generate yourself! Why are they best? It's because you've somehow created a relationship with them through value you have provided them. You have in some way attracted them to your website, read an article you've written, watch a video you've created, or visit your blog.
The key is first to get the right people to come to see your stuff. Who are the right people? People who are already interested in what you have to offer and people who have problems or challenges they're trying to solve and you have the answer (or at least an important PART of the answer). This is your target market.
When you're dealing with your target market these are the very best MLM leads you can find. When these people land on your site they will find tons of information which will add value to their lives. It will help them solve problems or challenges or other issues they are facing. And what's even better, they'll want more!
10 STRATEGIES TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO YOU AND WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER
1. GET INVOLVED IN THE SOCIAL NETWORKS. Social networks are exploding in popularity on the internet now. These are sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Better Networker, and LinkedIn. Social networks are key to getting a large following of people interested in you what you're doing and, eventually, in what you have to offer.
You can also post things on Social Bookmarking Sites. These are sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Propeller, and at least 50 others. These postings should share information that is interesting and relevant for your target market, and they should include links back to your site.
2. CREATE YOUR OWN BLOG. Blogging is a powerful way to keep people up to date on what you're doing and what you have to offer. Blogging is fun, easy, and very effective in attracting people to you. You can post anything you want on your blog but make sure it's relevant to your target market.
3. GIVE AWAY FREE INFORMATION. This is a strategy to help you build your list of prospects. You entice people with things like free eBooks, video, audios, a free consultation, and so on. In exchange for the information they give you their e-mail address so you can follow-up with them in the future.
4. PAY-PER-CLICK ADVERTISING (a.k.a. PPC). These are the ads you see down the right side of the page and the ones at the very top of Google shaded in yellow. You write your ad inviting people to your website. You bid on different keywords people will likely use when looking for something on the internet. This is some of the lowest cost advertising available in today's world. Each time someone clicks on your ad you pay whatever price you bid, but the good part is they've gotten to your website!
5. WRITE ARTICLES FOR EZINES. Contact people who publish ezines for your target market, then you offer them an article which will appeal to their readers. In your article you have a link to your website where readers can learn more about you and what you have to offer.
You can also submit articles to various article directories. This is another great way to increase your value on the Internet. You're not allowed to pitch your business in the articles, but you are allowed an author's by-line which can direct people to your website to get more information. EzineArticles.com is one of the most popular article marketing sites, but do a Google search for others. You'll find there are at least 500+ article directories available!
6. WRITE PRESS RELEASES. This is a wonderful free way to get information up on the Internet. You basically write a "newsy announcement" about some thing you're offering. You submit your press release to any number of free services and they post them on the internet for you. What could be easier than that?!? Just do a Google search for "free press release services".
7. SUBMIT ADS ON CRAIGSLIST. Most network marketers don't know about this strategy. Craigslist is a free classified ad site where you can post ads about almost anything you want. They don't allow you to post MLM ads directly, but you can definitely post a link to a website for some free information you're offering, then from there lead them to your MLM.
8. FORUM ADVERTISING. Enter your target market name followed by the word "forums" in a Google search. You'll receive a list of online forums where your target market hangs out. Join some of the forums to find out what people are talking about.
(IMPORTANT: Don't start pitching stuff! Make a contribution to the discussions and include a link to your website with your signature. If you're providing real value to the discussions going on, you'll be surprised by how many people will check out what you have to offer.)
9. VIDEO MARKETING is taking the Internet by storm. Here, the key again, as with all of these strategies, is to provide real VALUE. You can post as many videos as you want, however, make sure they are offering help to your target market solve their problems or answering questions you've discovered in the forums, or sharing some other information that will be useful to them.
Start by posting to YouTube, but don't stop there. There are at least 50+ video sites out there. Once you've created a video, why not also post it on your social networking sites, your social bookmarking sites. Why not turn your video into an article and then list it on the article directories as well?
10. OFFLINE ADVERTISING to get people to visit you online. You can run ads in local newspapers and other local service directories inviting people call you and/or to check out your website. You might be surprised by the response this can generate.
Now it is not necessary to use all 10 of these strategies to help you find the "best MLM leads". You should probably start out employing 2-3 of your favorites. However, a good long-term goal would be to use them all. The more your name is "splattered across the Internet", the more your credibility grows.
Remember that to find the best MLM leads for your business the key is to provide people with as much value as possible. Keep everything focused on helping other people and providing them with information that will answer their questions, solve their problems, help them deal with their challenges, etc. Keep your focus on the benefits of what you're offering to others (i.e. "what's in it for them!") and what they get out of working with you.
Imagine working less than an hour per day to attract 10-20 new leads per day, or more. Imagine personally sponsoring 10-15 new team builders per month without ever pestering your family or friends or making an outbound cold call to tire-kicker, unmotivated generic business opportunity seeker leads. Imagine having a system that produces leads on demand [http://CreatingWealthFormula.com] 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

4 Pro Tips for Landlords Advertising on Craigslist: How to Follow the Law
Over the last decade, Craigslist has emerged as the preeminent rental property hub on the internet. As a quick, free, and convenient way to find rentals, it has attracted the lion's share of traffic for the online rental listing market. Don't let the low barriers to entry fool you, though; posting your ad can land you in the courthouse (or even jailhouse) quick if you don't mind your p's and q's when posting, negotiating, and signing your lease.
1. Don't use discriminatory language in your ad. The Fair Housing Act protects seven classes in the housing arena: race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and handicap. Mentioning a preference for or against any characteristic in these listed categories is enough to put you in violation of the FHA, even before you've reached the point of rejecting a candidate. There is an exception in the cases of shared-housing (roommates), but as a general rule, try to keep your ad as neutral as possible. Better to have to screen a few applications than run into a costly (up to $10,000) suit just because you worded your ad wrong. Obviously, these protected classes apply to any applications you actually reject as well.
2. Screen Your Applicants. Screening potential tenants for credit, criminal, and eviction histories is not only prudent from a business perspective, it can give you legal cover in court if the tenant subsequently causes harm to others. Courts have found that landlords have a duty to all their tenants to properly screen new tenants, and held landlords who neglect this duty liable for huge damages when the new tenant harms someone else. Check out this story, where a court awarded $132,000 to the family of a grandmother who was killed by a drug addict tenant who the landlord failed to screen.
3. Don't make unnecessary promises. Not every potential client you hear from will be able to meet your demands for an application, rent or deposit right away. This is fine, but avoid promising to such applicants, either verbally or in writing, that the deal is done or that you will hold the apartment for them. If you do, the tenant can later claim that you either accepted their offer, creating an enforceable contract, or made them rely on your broken promise, which allows them to recover money for any damages they suffered because you broke your promise. Also be wary of accepting deposits or money prior to the contract signing, as these can create an option contract that legally obligates you to keep the offer open to that applicant, even if there are other applicants ready to close.
4. Don't lie. Don't even fudge the truth. Advertisements that are misleading, even if literally true, can be considered false advertising. False advertising can land you a $2500 fine and six months in jail.
Always sign a contract. Even for short-term sublets or roomshares, a written contract is the best evidence in case of a later dispute. It isn't hard to draft up a simple contract that outlines key terms (rental amount and due dates, period of the lease, deposit, etc.), and templates can easily be found searching online. Be sure to read over any pre-written contracts, though, and adapt them to meet your needs.
Remember, no matter what section of Craigslist you are browsing, always be careful and use protection!

How to Write an Effective Article and to Increase Traffic
Article writing is one of the most effective ways to generate traffic to your site or blog. It really isn't that difficult once you learn the basics and the results will certainly pay off. You don't have to be an expert reporter or Ernest Hemingway either to compose an effective article that gets read and creates traffic. The first thing to consider when writing an article is to pick a specific topic. Compose your article beforehand, then just copy and paste it to the article sites and make quick tweaks once logged in to that article site.
The best method by far is to use a conversational approach as if your talking to your best friend. This immediately eases any pressure you have in composing the piece, as well as ending up with a more effective final product once it does reach your audience. Don't "pitch" your opportunity in the article directories. In fact you don't have to mention your opportunity at all.
Write about an area of expertise you know about, then compose four or five short paragraphs about this. Most article sites have a resource box that you can give a short pitch, introduction, or bio that can contain a link or two to your opportunity. The article directories are funny about obvious pitches and I've had a few denied because of even mention the benefits of a program, but there are ways around this. Like I mentioned write about a related skill and do your "pitching" in the resource box. Or write an "unbiased review" of the opportunity you want to promote.
Some basic topics that almost anybody can write a quick article about are, "How Online Marketing is a Great Way to Earn Extra Money","Top Seven Reasons to Start a Home Based Business", "Why Stay-at-Home Moms Are Turning to Home Based Businesses", How to Use YouTube to Market","Recession Proof Business-Online Income".
The first paragraph should be an introduction and present a problem. The second paragraph will offer a solution to this problem. For example, the economy is tough, what is a way to make an extra income? An online business. Or, what are the five most common Craigslists mistakes? Then go on to explain the solution. Offer an example or two and a testimonial about how it worked for you or someone you know.
Then simply conclude your article by reinforcing your main points. So you want to be conversational, include examples and ways to overcome obstacles, and increase your credibility with endorsements. These are the basics and will work as a basic guide until you become more and more comfortable and develop your own style.
Finally an important but overlooked element of all is the call to action. This applies to the spoken word as well. A call to action is simply directing or asking the reader what action to take. Whether subtle or direct, do not omit this step. Whether it is to buy, sign up or support something be sure to include instructions as to what you want them to do in the first place. On article sites be subtle and save this for the resource box.
If all of these bases are covered than your article will do the job. Why does this work and How does this help you? Article sites have subscribers, so when you submit and get an article accepted it automatically gets read by that subscriber base in the related subject.
This increases your web presence and credibility. Also, your article will get picked up by other sites who use these sites for fresh content on their own sites with your links in tact. Lastly, and best of all, the search engines can pick up the content within your article and give you free and organic page ranking. So give article writing a try and watch your web traffic increase.

How to Choose the Best Daycare in Your Area
Get a Jump Start on it!
Start by looking around and talking to people in your community. Often times people are attracted to what they think childcare should be, in many cases in-home daycare. Really take a look to see what the pros and cons are in every situation. Never put yourself in a position where your rushing because this is one decision you do not want to mess up on. You can start by looking in some local ads, especially classified like craigslist or ads in the local papers. You dont have to go to the biggest commercial daycare, just focus on the providers who truly have a passion for what they do and not looking just for financial gains. Do your due diligence, take a look to see what the licensing requirements are and take a good hard looks at your providers papers. They should be easily located as soon as you walk into the door hanging on a near by wall. See what they are licensed to do and have, pay close attention and let them see you are an involved parent.
To go without mention make sure you actually visit the facility. Make a few random un-announced visits to see if there operation is consistent.
* What is the adult to child ratio? See how many children the state allows to be in one particular group or class size and ask the provider how many they have. Dont be bashful or afraid to walk into the classroom and actually take a count on how many they have. In this case its OK to be somewhat invasive to ensure the quality and proper care of your child.
* What Are the Qualifications of the Caregiver? Ask about the actually caregivers or teachers that will be in the classrooms. See what type of credentials they have and keep in mind what stage your child is in so what your childs needs my be. For example, if you have an infant you may not need a person with a masters degree taking care of him or her, more so just a loving nurturing person to comfort them and help them learn through play. However if your child is a little bit older you may want to see materials as to what educational materials is being shared. You want your child to develop in a development center.
* Check to see what the Turnover rate is: See if other parents are happy with the service they have received and also check to see if the teachers at that facility have been there for a while. You want your child to get use to routine and a quality center should be able to maintain a good core staff at all times.
* Is your center on the Stars or Food Program? Find out if the center of your choice is on the stars program. This is important because its symbolic of the structure of education the center provides. In addition is the center a sponsor of the food program? Why is this important? Because if indeed it is a sponsor you can rest assure your child is eating nutritiuos meals. The Food Program offers the centers a reinbursement for quality healthy meals so that the provider will not spare any expense in doing just that.
Remember and write down what you saw each visit and ultimately you have to make the right choice for you and your family.
Stay INVOLVED: Volunteer whenever you can, if your center offers xx amount of trips during the year try to make at least a quarter of them. If your daycare center is having birthday parties or anything group gathering again just try to free up some time so you can be a presence at the center. Your child will appreciate it and the providers will know about your level of interest.

Article Promotion Secrets - How to Write Articles to Create Backlinks
There are many purposes for writing articles. On the internet, one of the most common reasons is to create back links or simply links to your webpage from another page. If you have a webpage, the key is to get people to visit it. Writing articles that serve as back links to your webpage is one of the best methods of creating traffic. Here are a few strategies that will help you create these.
Post on other sites often and with keywords. There are many sites on the web that will accept articles. You need to post as often as possible on these sites and create a links to your webpage. Often the reverse is true too. You can let others post on your webpage thus creating a link for them and you because of search engines - which leads me to my next point.
The easiest way to create links is to earn a high rating on search engines. The use of keywords and phrases in your article will make it more searchable or increase its Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The more postings with high SEO will increase your ranking with Yahoo and/or Google. The higher your ranking, the better chance your article will appear on the first page of a search. One click is an instant connection to your webpage.
Post your article on Social Bookmark sites. These websites give you links and also added exposure for your website. For example, Digg.com is a social bookmark site that allows you to post content about your website. By posting here, you are giving surfers information about your site in addition to a click directly to your site.
Other sources for creating back links are posting articles on blogs, online forums, news sites, Craigslist advertisements and web directories. Web directories group articles by category and thus do not provide back links based on keywords.
There are literally dozens and dozens of ways to create clicks. Your article is an ambassador of your website. Make sure to list appropriate keywords and submit your article on appropriate websites. And remember to post as often as possible to keep your search ranking high.

What are some of the best places to find ghostwriters to create content? This article reveals some of my secret sources in finding some the best writers to create content for you. By using these sources, you'll be able to cut back on your article writing and focus on other parts of your business.
Source #1 eBay
That's right! eBay offers some of the best ghostwriters that you can find. Here, you can find writers that are selling private label right packages of articles to the highest bidder. You can contact these individuals and asked them to write directly for you.

Source #2 Classified Ads
Posting classified ads on websites like eBay classifieds, Kijiji, and Craigslist can attract some high quality writers to work for you. Usually these type or writers or students looking to supplement their income while going to school. Articles created by the students are usually high quality and turnaround time is pretty decent depending on what the schedule is.
Be aware that some the students do have final exams and could get pretty busy. So if you're looking for a set schedule and getting your articles delivered on a timely basis you may want to hire multiple students at the same time. Rates for articles usually go for around five dollars an article and you can't complain with the type of quality that you're going to get here.
Source #3 International Language Schools
This is a resource that works extremely well to hire cheap writers. These people are looking to improve their English and are willing to take on projects that are not paying specifically high per article. Turnaround time is pretty decent but could take longer depending on the individual's language experience.
Be prepared to do a lot of corrections on these articles. More than likely they're going to be missing specific words in sentences. But if you're willing to do small corrections you could be saving yourself a lot of money and getting unique content fairly quickly.

Article Writing Services: How to Find the Best One for You
Recently Google has done Panda/Farmer update, and many website owners are rushing to find suitable article writers for them to keep their supremacy. This Panda/Farmer update by Google basically rewards websites which have original quality content with good page ranking and penalizes websites with copied or PLR (private label rights) contents with low page rankings. Thus website and blog owners are rushing to find quality article writers to get quality fresh contents and also to improve the quality of the existing contents in their websites. Thus suddenly there is huge demand for quality article writers and/or quality article writing services. Entrepreneurs are trying all options available to find the best ones, but they find it difficult to get through as most of the quality writers are booked for months in advance. Many article writers have doubled or tripled their charges, and many small business owners just cannot pay that much of money. Is there any way out?
Entrepreneurs should consider the following options to find good writers to work for them:
1. Outsourcing Sites: If enough time is available, say about one month before you want to receive the articles, you may go to freelancing sites like Elance, oDesk, or Guru. There are many other outsourcing sites as well; however, these are established ones. Employers can register and then put advertisement in the websites asking for bids for the specific projects they would like to hire article writers for. There are scores of people who bid for the projects. You have to choose the right one for you. Usually the payment made by the employers are secured in escrow accounts, and thus many article writers find it convenient to work through these outsourcing sites as the payment is secured. However, scores of people vie for projects and they often try to undercut each other, thus the standard price quoted for projects here are often lower and that forces many quality writers to stay away from them. Often bidders from low-cost countries quote prices that are unbelievable to people bidding from the high-cost countries. Choosing bidders only by the low price may backfire at the end. You should be wise enough to understand the eligibility and background of the bidders from their profiles. Some outsourcing sites offer free tests in relevant areas, and many article writers take these tests. If you are not sure of the quality, you may check out the test scores of the bidders.
2. Buy-Article Sites: Sites like Constant-Content or Associated Content gives you the option of posting your proposal or buy articles directly from scores of article writers who keep their articles ready for sale there. Many writers write many articles on popular topics, set the price, and display the gist of the article, which you can read, choose, and buy. If you do not find any article ready for you, you can post your project. Articles in these websites are said to be of better quality and found to be costly as well. However, may writers do not prefer these websites as the selection process of the articles seems to be too strict and are rejected for small reasons. In addition, these sites keep about one third of the sale proceedings and that puts off many writers.
3. Reference: Do you know somebody who is getting their articles written by others? Can they recommend somebody for you?
4. Internet Research: A lot of article writers regularly post about their services in sites like Craigslist or local business listing websites. You can browse the relevant pages and get somebody offering the service, living very close to where you live!
5. Advertisements: Experienced writers believe in advertising. Many article writers make it a habit of spending about 10% of their earnings in paid advertisements. Thus some time you can find good article writers or article-writing services in Google or other search engines. Many article writers put their advertisements in high-traffic websites frequented by internet entrepreneurs, e.g., sitepoint or warriorforum, etc. You can find many writers in these sites who are found to be quite reliable and experienced.
6. Writer's Website: Usually writers keep a specific website dedicated for their writing business and usually that site is hosted in a domain that matches the writer's name. These websites detail everything that you are looking for, the services offered by the writer, rates, availability, samples, etc. Active and trained writers prefer to update their blogs regularly, thus you can visit the blog section of the website to understand what the writer is up to. You can get contact details of the writer from the website, and you can shoot an email to them immediately
If you want to play safe and play long-term, you may consider working with a few people and then zoom down on those who are suitable to your needs and keep working with them.
